Muted reflections of overhead fixtures stretch across the polished floor toward the back of the aisle. Late summer greenery peeks through glass display cases lining the wall. A queue of customers begins to form, their shadows falling at sharp angles on the tiled ground. The counter edge catches a glint of light, highlighting the texture of the laminate.
