Soft tungsten light spills across a wooden slatted bench inside a Shiraz cafe, illuminating a bulb planter resting near damp glass panes. The planter shows practical wear, its surface marked by repeated handling and soil stains. Early spring is hinted at by the dormant, earthy state of the planting tool and the fresh dampness on the window. Dust particles hang in visible shafts of light, suspended in the deep night air. The glass reflects the interior glow, creating a layered effect against the dark exterior. A small chip in the wood grain near the planter's base catches the light, revealing the texture of aged timber beneath the varnish.
