Blue hour spills over the terracotta roofline of a narrow Via del Pratello alley, casting long, cool shadows across the brickwork. A ceramicist’s workshop window glows with warm tungsten light, illuminating a workbench where speckled stoneware glaze drips from a half-finished vase. Outside, the wet pavement reflects the shop’s sign, while a pair of aprons hangs from a hook, slightly damp from the evening mist. The rough texture of the aged masonry with the smooth, glossy curves of the pottery inside, creating a quiet, lived-in moment that shows the artisanal soul of Bologna without staging or pretense.
