Wool Scarf in Lima

A tarnished metal coat hook protrudes from a peeling lime-green plaster wall in a Lima hallway illuminated by sodium street light. The hook holds a single heavy wool scarf, its rough knit texture catching the harsh orange glow of the mixed city lighting. Behind the scarf, the wall shows signs of age with cracks and patches of exposed cement near the floor. A thin layer of gray ash dust coats the bottom edge of the wall, settling into the uneven surface.
