Wooden Workbench Reflecting Terraced Paddies at Dawn

Soft overcast light from the first hour of dawn washes over a weathered wooden workbench in a Jeddah interior. The grain of the wood runs deep and dark, absorbing the gentle illumination while a shallow depth of field blurs the surrounding room. In the corner, a small lamp casts a pool of warm yellow glow that settles against the shadows, against the cool gray of the morning. The scene shows a printed reflection of terraced hillsides and flooded rice paddies resting on the polished surface, where water appears to ripple under the dry season's stillness. Dust motes hover in the lamplight, catching the edge of the wood and the crisp lines of the printed landscape.
