A wooden ladder leans against the weathered exterior wall of a traditional Kolkata building, its rungs dusty from the bright late morning sun. The harsh light casts sharp, linear shadows across the textured plaster, highlighting the rough grain of the aged timber. Beside the base of the ladder, a cluster of potted geraniums adds a splash of vibrant red to the otherwise muted earth tones of the scene. One dried leaf rests on the lowest step, catching a small patch of direct sunlight.
