A weathered wooden crate rests on a rough stone ledge near the corniche, holding several bright sun hats that have been set aside for the evening. The deep indigo of the twilight sky reflects softly against the rippling surface of the Mediterranean Sea just beyond the wall. Faded linen curtains hang loosely in the background, catching the last faint breeze from the harbor. One straw hat lies tilted on its side, revealing the woven texture of its brim against the darkening pavement.
