A weathered wooden chair sits on a narrow balcony railing overlooking the blue-lit Brygatten wharf in Bergen. The dark timber frame is silhouetted against the deep indigo sky and the glowing windows of the historic Hanseatic buildings across the harbor. Ripples across shallow water in the canal below reflect the scattered streetlights, creating distorted patterns of gold and blue. One rusted metal bracket secures the chair to the wet wooden planks of the deck.
