The fabric swells with moisture, catching the copper-toned glow of the late spring sun. Below, fine dust hangs suspended in the still air, illuminated by the low angle of the light. The buildings show weathered brick and faded paint, framing the domestic task. Shadows stretch long across the pavement, while the wet sheets ripple gently, their white surfaces reflecting the fading daylight. One red plastic hanger contrasts against the gray concrete wall.
