Rain-slicked cobblestones in Vienna’s Innere Stadt reflect the soft, diffused gray of the early morning sky, creating a mirror-like surface that doubles the vibrant yellow of a parked delivery van. A woman in a damp trench coat pauses near a wrought-iron balcony, using a small hand towel to wipe water from her glasses, her breath visible in the cool air.
