Winter Guard Post Thermal Mug Shelf Before Dawn

Cold moonlight washes over a low-angle view of a temporary guard post shelf lined with thermal mugs along a Bosnia and Herzegovina airbase flight line. Ground fog pools thick and white across the asphalt, obscuring the base of the equipment rack. Winter chill is visible in the frost clinging to the metal rim of the nearest mug and the heavy wool texture of a discarded glove resting beside the rack. The mugs sit in neat rows, their matte surfaces reflecting the pale, silver light. Behind the shelf, the dark silhouette of military vehicles stands still, their tires half-buried in the low fog. One shadow stretches long across the frozen ground, ending abruptly at the edge of the illuminated shelf where condensation beads on a ceramic handle.
