Scattered gear rests in organized clusters, separating inspection rounds from support operations. Dust motes float in the dense beams of light, settling on the textured metal grating. A shadow from a nearby railing falls sharply across the base of the shelf, marking the precise boundary between the equipment and the deck plating.
