Pale morning light falls through high windows, washing the concrete floor and inventory racks in a cool, diffused glow. A sturdy packing bench dominates the center, holding two carton knives with black handles and rolls of void-fill material in muted beige. Half-closed order totes sit open, their flaps folded inward, revealing empty spaces ready for packing. The symmetrical arrangement of shelves on either side creates a rigid corridor leading to the work surface. Rain streaks blur the distant windows, casting soft, vertical reflections on the smooth metal table. One shadow from a knife handle falls sharply across the white surface, marking the precise edge of the morning light.
