Winter Cedar Valley Tidal Pools Kathmandu

Deep shadows blanket a cedar-lined valley floor where dark tidal pools reflect the heavy gray of rolling winter clouds. Broad natural depth stretches from the immediate foreground across the floodplain near Freak Street in Kathmandu. Thin rims of pale light trace the tops of wind-swept trees, carving out their jagged silhouettes against the overcast sky. Bare branches whip violently in the air, their movement blurring the edges of the frame. The ground remains slick with recent rain, turning the soil into a dark, matte surface that absorbs the weak morning sun. Layers of trees recede into the distance, each tier slightly lighter as atmospheric haze softens the horizon line. at the edge is a single ripple spreading across the surface of the nearest pool, mirroring the chaotic motion of the sky above.
