White Enamel Wash Basin in Milan

A white enamel wash basin sits on a narrow stone sill overlooking the fog-draped rooftops of Milan. The basin holds murky water and a few scattered laundry items, their colors muted by the early morning gloom. Condensation beads along the rim, catching the weak, diffuse light that falls through the thick mist. One blue sock hangs over the edge, dripping slowly into the shadows below.
