Dim blue window light mixes with warm brass lamp glow across a wooden trestle table in a Wenzhou workshop. Indigo and rust-colored fabrics drape over the surface, their woven textures visible against the grain of the wood. Stacks of patterned silk rest beside wooden spools, geometric designs catching the low illumination. Layers of depth recede behind the main display where more textiles hang from the walls. The light settles into corners along the edges of the table, illuminating dust motes near the hanging fabrics. A fringed edge of a red scarf lies on the table's corner, threads slightly frayed from handling.
