A weathered wooden chair sits on a sunlit concrete stoop in a Philadelphia row house neighborhood, its slats showing years of exposure to the elements. The bright late morning light casts sharp, defined shadows across the peeling white paint that rests on the vertical backrest slats. Beside the chair, a small patch of stubborn green weeds pushes through the cracks in the gray pavement, adding a touch of organic life to the urban setting.
