Weathered Bullfighter Face at Mexico City Harbor Dawn

Pale dawn sidelight washes the left side of an elderly man's face, revealing deep furrows and a distinct scar running across his cheek. The setting is the edge of a harbor in Mexico City, where the wet, dark pavement reflects the soft gray sky. Monsoon season hangs heavy in the air, evidenced by the glistening sheen on his weathered leather jacket and the way his hair is pulled back by a strong wind. Negative space frames his profile against a blurred background of water and distant industrial structures. Fine droplets cling to his skin and the brim of his cap, catching the low light. one drop of water slides down the scarred ridge of his nose.
