A Bloodhound stands in profile against a rough, light-gray concrete wall in a courtyard near Enugu. Long, heavy ears drape low, framing a face marked by weathered dignity. The animal's dark eyes gaze slightly past the camera, set against the stark vertical lines of the masonry. Shadows fall softly across the brickwork, highlighting the dust settled in the wall's pores. The dog's muscular shoulders rise above the ground, anchoring the composition with clear quiet strength. One drop of water rests on the tip of the nearest ear, catching the ambient light.
