Water Droplets in Miami

A cluster of broad, glossy philodendron leaves dominates the frame, resting on a weathered wooden balcony railing in Miami during a light rain at dusk. Raindrops rest on the waxy green surfaces, reflecting the dim, cool blue light of the overcast sky and the distant glow of city traffic. The wet wood of the railing shows dark streaks where water has pooled, against the vibrant, rain-slicked foliage above. One large droplet hangs precariously from the tip of the lowest leaf, ready to fall into the shadows below.
