On a balcony of a traditional mud-brick house, a black cat sits alert on a woven mat, watching a flock of pigeons take flight from the parapet. Nearby, a stovetop kettle steams gently on a small gas burner, while a spool of thread and an awl rest on a wooden crate, hinting at a craftsman’s quiet morning routine. The intersection of domestic stillness and urban movement, with the wet surfaces reflecting the soft, early light.
