Molten gold light pours across the wooden floor of a theater stage in Bouake, catching the polished varnish of a violin held by a soloist. The musician stands center stage with bow drawn, while deep shadows fill the rows of empty seats beside the performer. Soft, out-of-focus shapes of green foliage occupy the immediate foreground, resting against the lower edge of the view. Warm sunset hues reflect off the instrument and the performer's focused expression. Dust motes hang in the angled beams, marking the turn of seasons on this clear day.
