Vintage DC-3 on Grass Airstrip in Rain

Deep blue twilight settles over a weathered DC-3 fuselage resting on a wet, grassy airstrip near Bucharest. Steady rain streaks the air, blurring the distant ferry crossing while rim light traces the aircraft's upper edges against the darkening sky. Early autumn grass lies matted and dark under the plane's shadowed belly. The metal skin reflects the fading ambient glow, showing patches of faded paint and rivets. Low angle framing emphasizes the massive scale of the wings stretching into the gloom. Water droplets rest on the propeller blades and run down the fuselage panels. One puddle at the base of the landing gear mirrors the dim, gray sky above.
