Deep indigo twilight washes over a narrow farm pond nestled between rows of vineyard trellises in Jiangxi. Dark silhouettes of irrigation sprinklers stand rigid against the fading sky, their metal arms catching the last light. The water surface ripples violently, whipping into small, choppy waves that distort the reflections into jagged, shimmering lines. Bare earth surrounds the pond, showing the dry, cracked texture of the turn of seasons. The low angle emphasizes the height of the sprinklers against the deepening sky. In the foreground, a bent vine leaf rests on the muddy bank, its tip trembling near the water's edge.
