Warm candlelight pools across the intricate metal face of a tunnel boring machine model resting on a painted display ledge. The heavy machinery details, from hydraulic pistons to the circular cutter head, glow with an orange sheen that contrasts against the deep shadows of the indoor space. Outside the frame, the city begins to glow with electric lights, but here the light settles into the crevices of the painted surface.
