Terracotta Bowls in Milan

A cluster of terracotta bowls rests on a weathered stone ledge outside a Milanese shop window during the clear afternoon. The warm, earthy tones of the unglazed clay contrast sharply with the cool, bright sunlight reflecting off the glass pane behind them. Inside the display, blue floral porcelain plates stand vertically, their delicate patterns visible through the transparent barrier. One shadow from the building above falls across the rim of the largest bowl, at the base of the composition in the specific light of the moment.
