Tarnished Brass Candlestick in Athens

A tarnished brass candlestick rests on a rough stone windowsill, its base catching the last dim light of the blue hour. The metal surface is scratched and dull, reflecting the deep indigo sky that fills the open window behind it. Through the glass, the faint glow of distant Athenian streetlights blurs into soft orbs against the darkening urban backdrop. One drop of condensation rests on the rim of the candle holder, showing the cool evening air.
