First light after rain washes over a Tunisian balcony where wet cobblestones reflect the pale sky. A woman in a light blue abaya adjusts a white table fan on a small iron railing, its blades still. Cracked painted stucco walls in faded ochre frame the scene, with green bougainvillea spilling over a tiled edge. A handkerchief hangs from a line, damp and heavy. She smiles slightly as she secures the fan, avoiding the drip from the gutter above. A quiet moment of domestic care against the textured backdrop of the medina's aged architecture.
