Amber city light floods a backstage corridor in Valle de la Pascua, illuminating a tailor stitching lapels against a rain-streaked window. Every vertical surface, from the floor to the ceiling, is carpeted in thick green moss and wild grass that grows horizontally, defying gravity. The grass blades rest flat against the walls and doorframes, creating a lush, impossible tapestry of vegetation indoors. Polished metal fixtures reflect the warm sunset glow, against the damp, textured foliage. The tailor stands centered in perfect symmetry, hands moving with precise control over the fabric. Raindrops streak the glass, blurring the distant city lights. One blade of grass curls tightly around the corner of a silver button.
