Dappled sunlight falls through overhead leaves, illuminating a vibrant tunnel of spice sacks and hanging textiles beneath a stone archway. The scene bursts with crimson, ochre, and deep indigo hues typical of an Enugu textile market. Every vertical surface, from the rough brick pillars to the wooden stall frames, is completely engulfed in thick green moss and tufts of grass. This vegetation grows horizontally across the walls, defying gravity as if the ground were a wall. Fine spice dust hangs in the warm air, catching the light like golden haze. The dry season heat shimmers above the colorful piles of dried peppers and leaves. A shadow of the arch falls sharply across a woven mat at the base, at the base of the impossible greenery in concrete reality.
