Every surface, from the floor to the walls, sinks into sharp, absolute shadow, while the vase of flowers remains lit by an inexplicable, intense brightness that defies the room's geometry. The muted reflections along the dark floor show only the faint outline of the desk legs. The passports lie flat in the gloom, their edges invisible, while the petals of the flowers glow with a stark, artificial radiance. The light creates a hard boundary where the shadow meets the illuminated bloom, ending on the specific texture of a single petal edge.
