Amber sunset light pools across the floor of a Getafe office bay, transforming the solid ground into a mirror-still sheet of open water. Reception mail cubbies line the wall, their white slots catching the fading daylight. Lamplight settles into the corners, casting warm halos that ripple gently on the liquid surface below. Winter chill hangs in the air, visible through the bare branches of potted plants standing in the water. The cubby labels remain crisp and readable against the shifting reflections. One mail slot glows with reflected sky, its edge sharp against the dark water. The impossible floor holds the entire room upside down, creating a perfect, silent inversion of the workspace.
