The cool stillness of pre-dawn Beirut casts long, soft shadows across a narrow cobblestone alley in the Achrafieh district. A weathered stone balcony overlooks the street, where a faded blue enamel pitcher sits on a rustic wooden crate, its surface reflecting the faint, cool light of the early morning sky. Below, a local vendor adjusts the canvas awning of a small café, his movements quiet and deliberate in the silence. The architecture features traditional arched doorways and textured limestone walls, at the base of the scene in the historic character of the city. One streetlamp flickers off, leaving the area illuminated by the natural, dim glow of the approaching sunrise, highlighting the everyday textures of the neighborhood.
