Harsh flash cuts through a haze of hairspray in a narrow backstage corridor, rendering the stylist station and marble staircase as stark silhouettes. Late spring light filters faintly from a distant opening, against the artificial glare that defines the foreground. Fabric tension ripples across a draped garment, its edges catching the light before falling into deep shadow. The marble steps curve gently upward, their polished surfaces reflecting the intense beam. Tiny particles of spray hang suspended in the air, softening the hard lines of the tools and mirrors. A final detail emerges in the sharp edge of a comb resting against the smooth stone.
