A wooden drawer pulled slightly ajar reveals paint flecks on its brass handle, hinting at years of use. Beside it, a ceramic salt cellar sits next to a bottle brush with stiff bristles, while a shaving brush rests against a stack of old books. Dried flowers spill from a paper bag, their stems tangled and brittle.
