The worker wears a heavy jacket, signaling the turn of the seasons, while dramatic clouds hang low and textured above. Dust particles float in the soft air around the chisel as it strikes the stone surface. The mason's posture is focused and rigid, hands gripping the tool firmly against the cold rock.
