Steam Train Arrives at Victorian Station

Hard coastal glare slices across a Victorian station platform as a heritage steam train pulls into the frame. Early summer rain creates a slick sheen on the dark stone and wet iron rails, reflecting the bright morning sky in fractured shards. Steam billows thick and white from the locomotive, mixing with the falling rain to soften the sharp edges of the brick archway. Diagonal lines of the track and platform edge cut through the composition, showing motion and tension. Water droplets rest on the black metal of the carriage wheels and the rough texture of the station roof tiles. at the edge is a single puddle on the cobblestones mirroring the red tail light of the train.
