Station Interior in Montreal at As The Sun Drops Toward The Horizon

The interior of a Montreal metro station glows with the warm, low-angle light of the setting sun filtering through the entrance grate above. Yellow structural pillars, iconic to the city's transit system, line the platform where commuters wait on benches. The concrete walls show signs of wear and graffiti, typical of the underground network. Overhead, the underside of the street is striped with shadows from passing traffic, creating a rhythmic pattern across the ceiling. A few passengers stand near the edge of the platform, watching the tracks. The everyday transit life in Quebec, blending the architectural design with the natural light of the evening.
