Stacked Bowls Cast Rhythmic Shadows in Xian Arcade

Warm candlelight pools over a precise arrangement of stacked ceramic bowls, their rims glowing amber against the cooling blue twilight filtering through the glass roof above. The bowls form a tight geometric stack that nearly dissolves into the deep, repeating shadows cast directly beneath them. Soft reflections ripple across the polished stone floor, mirroring the rhythmic curve of the pottery. The turn of the season is visible in the crisp clarity of the air and the specific hue of the evening light entering the arcade. Each layer of the stack creates a new shadow line, building a pattern of dark and light that aligns perfectly with the architectural grid of the floor tiles. The final shadow edge cuts a sharp black line against the warm ceramic glaze.
