Molten side light floods the wooden table in a Košice bakery, illuminating a loaf of artisan sourdough cut into thick, uneven slices. The crust displays a deep, burnt amber hue with a rough, flour-dusted texture, while the interior crumb reveals a network of large, irregular holes glowing with warmth. Early spring shadows stretch long across the surface, showing the raw grit of the wooden board. Heat haze distorts the background slightly, blurring the edges of metal mixing bowls and hanging copper tools. Golden dust motes hang suspended in the air, catching the light as it falls across the torn edges of the bread.
