A young resident in a faded singlet pauses near a row of color-coded recycling bins, balancing a red skateboard on one foot while adjusting a plastic bag of groceries. Raindrops rest on the corrugated metal roof overhead, dripping steadily onto the concrete ledge where a half-eaten orange peel rests on a chipped white plate, left there by an earlier resident. The vertical lines of air-conditioning units and the horizontal sweep of the wet pavement, capturing a quiet, transient moment of daily life in the dense urban landscape.
