Silhouetted Sandcastle Builders at V&A Waterfront

Golden afternoon light turns the figures into dark silhouettes against the glowing horizon. Three people stand on a sandy patch within the paved public square of the V&A Waterfront, their hands raised to shape intricate towers and ramparts. The sand beneath them is coarse and damp, catching the low sun with a warm, amber sheen. Behind them, the harbor water shimmers through a thick layer of sea haze, softening the distant masts and buildings into pale outlines. The sky transitions from deep orange near the horizon to a muted violet above. Shadows stretch long across the sand, showing the height of the castle walls. One bucket rests overturned near the base of the largest tower.
