Shears in London at Flat Noon Light

Flat noon light bleaches the color from a narrow London mews courtyard where a bright yellow garden hose snakes across damp grey paving stones, coiling loosely around the legs of a black metal chair. Beside it, a pair of rusted garden shears rests on a weathered wooden bench, their handles worn smooth by use.
