Condensation beads along the edge of a glass partition, blurring the view into a dimly lit stockroom in Old City, Shanghai. A metal power-cube lock box sits on a plain work surface, its acrylic surface smudged with fingerprints and dust. Worn drawer liners inside the open compartments reveal frayed edges and faded colors, against the smooth, handled forms of the demo units resting within. Storefront light from the street falls through the glass, casting long, distorted reflections of wet pavement onto the floor. The scene remains stark and utilitarian, devoid of luxury staging. A sharp line of reflected neon cuts across the base of the lock box, marking the boundary between the interior darkness and the humid night outside.
