A rusted bicycle leans against the rough stone pillar of a Brussels doorway, its frame catching the diffuse gray light of a misty dawn. The front wheel rests on wet cobblestones, while the handlebars are wrapped in dark tape that has begun to fray at the edges. Behind the bike, a heavy wooden door is slightly ajar, revealing a sliver of dim interior space. One drop of condensation hangs from the brake lever, trembling before falling onto the pavement.
