Rubber Gloves in Seoul

A pair of rubber gloves rests on a wet tiled ledge outside a Seoul convenience store, glistening under the soft, diffused light of early morning. Rain droplets rest on the red rubber, reflecting the pale blue sky and the neon glow of a nearby sign that is just beginning to dim. The tiles are slick with recent rain, creating a mirror-like surface that doubles the reflection of the gloves and the streetlamp above. One drop of water slides slowly down the curve of the glove, catching the first rays of sunlight breaking through the clouds.
