The stones, varying in shades of gray and rust, rest beneath a corrugated metal roof that catches the midday brightness. Beside the bench, a stainless steel thermos and a pair of precision calipers sit on a flat surface, their metallic housings reflecting faint indicator lights from nearby equipment. The season is evident in the vibrant orange and yellow foliage framing the structure. The symmetrical arrangement of the stones creates a disciplined visual rhythm against the organic backdrop of the forest. A thin line of condensation traces the curve of the thermos where the metal meets the cool air.
