A dancer stands in perfect symmetrical alignment, her massive feathered headdress catching the light in vibrant reds and golds. Raindrops glisten on the sequined fabric of her costume and coat the wet cobblestones below. The wet ground reflects the sweeping beams, creating a shimmering path that anchors the figure in the center of the frame. Cool blue tones from the overcast sky contrast with the warm glow of the floodlights, highlighting the texture of the wet feathers and the smooth sheen of the wet pavement surrounding her boots. One droplet rests on the tip of a white plume.
