A narrow alleyway in Fukuoka glows under the faint blue light of early morning, where a solitary street vendor prepares breakfast for the first customers. Steam rises from a large metal pot, obscuring the vendor's face as they work behind a wooden counter. On the counter, a set of blue and white porcelain bowls sits ready for serving, against the dark wood. A customer in a dark coat waits patiently, holding a small paper bag. The wet pavement reflects the dim streetlights and the warm yellow glow from the stall.
