The dry season leaves the background dark and indistinct, focusing attention on the organized clutter of scientific tools. Condensation beads slightly on the metal clasps of the trays, catching the faint light. The arrangement suggests preparation for early fieldwork, with each tube and magnifier resting in its specific spot against the dark wood grain.
